Takashimaya “Amour du Chocolat” 2025 will be held!

Takashimaya is holding the annual chocolate festival "Amour du Chocolat 2025" in advance at the Takashimaya online store.The Kanto store will be holding it from January 22nd (Wednesday), and the Kansai store will be holding it from January 17th (Friday). ) will be held sequentially. Notable domestic and international brands gather together, including the finest chocolates from world-renowned masters. We carry over 100 brands in-store and up to 400 brands in our online store, offering a special chocolate experience that can only be found here and only available now.

This year's ``Amour du Chocolat'' features not only premium chocolats from around the world with a focus on ``Oshichochokatsu'', but also a number of domestic brands made with carefully selected ingredients in response to the growing popularity of domestically produced chocolats. In addition, we have a rich variety of lineups, including a luxurious collaboration box where you can enjoy chocolate from 6 brands, and upcycled chocolate that uses leftovers from "Hoshiimo" as a sustainable initiative.

  • <Beliška> : A mature taste created in the beautiful forests of Slovenia that combines the flavor of figs with homemade rum. (Takashimaya limited)
  • <Lavance> : Chocolate made by a Belgian chocolatier using Japanese materials. We are particular about using ingredients that are future-oriented, such as organic cultivation, and offer new rochers that combine rich onigurumi grown wild in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture with rare domestically produced golden sesame seeds, and lemon and honey ganache from Osakikamijima, Hiroshima Prefecture.   • <Karateel> : A chocolate brand created by Mr. Kumagai of the patisserie <Le Temps Plus>. Chocolate made in-house from cacao beans, and bonbon chocolate with a rich aroma and flavor made from nut paste and praline.

A special collaboration box created by six unique Japanese chefs, available only at Takashimaya and Entetsu Department Stores, is now available. (On sale from Saturday, February 1st)

  • <Karateel> Mr. Haruhisa Kumagai : Cocoa husk smoked almond praline, caramel and whiskey ganache
  • <Chocolatier Palais d'Or> Shunsuke Saegusa : Homemade white chocolate ganache with almond and vanilla scent and macadamia nuts
  • <Chez Shibata> Mr. Takeshi Shibata : High cacao bitter chocolate ganache made with flavored tea representative of a long-established tea shop in Paris, which he loves.
  • <Le Chocolat de Ash> Mr. Hirohiro Tsujiguchi : A dish that combines ganache from our own farm's Chuncho cacao with passion, banana, and mango ganache.
  • <Mori Yoshida> Mr. Morihide Yoshida : Praline chocolate made with lemon from southern France kneaded into rich hazelnuts.
  • <Toshi Yoroizuka> Mr. Toshihiko Yoroizuka : Caramel ganache and banana part de fruit made with chocolate from our own cacao farm in Ecuador.

This is a special chocolate that can only be tasted here, filled with the passion of each chef.

We also have a variety of sweets chocolates that you can enjoy the texture of, chocolates that are attracting attention from Takashimaya buyers, and chocolates made with ingredients from Ishikawa Prefecture!

We also have a wide selection of chocolates with textures from popular brands such as Jacques Genin and Bruno Saladino, chocolates carefully selected by Takashimaya buyers, and chocolates and sweets that make use of ingredients from Ishikawa Prefecture.

Sustainable initiative “Upcycled Chocolat”

Aiming to contribute to reducing food loss, we are developing upcycled chocolate using leftovers from "Hoshimo". Popular brands such as Toshi Yoroizuka, Pierre Hermé Paris, and Sils Maria will offer sustainable and delicious chocolates that make use of the flavor of sweet potatoes.
