Participating in the EU grant project "FULL-MAP" towards the development of next-generation battery technology
Promoting innovation in next-generation battery materials with quantum computer technology
QunaSys, which utilizes quantum computer technology, has participated in the FULL-MAP, a grant project to accelerate the development of next-generation battery technology This will enable QunaSys to innovate sustainable energy storage technologies with 32 international partners through its European subsidiary, QunaSys Denmark ApS.
Accelerate battery material development with quantum machine learning technology
QunaSys uses quantum computer-based calculation methods to accelerate the development of battery materials. Specifically, we aim to utilize quantum machine learning to improve modeling and simulation accuracy of electrolytes and electrode materials, and efficiently discover new materials that are ideal for next-generation batteries. This greatly improves battery stability and efficiency, and contributes to the development of environmentally friendly battery materials.
Purpose and significance of the "FULL-MAP" project
"FULL-MAP (Furthering the Development of a Materials Acceleration Platform for Sustainable Batteries)" is an international joint project with support from the EU to develop next-generation battery materials. QunaSys works with 32 European universities, research institutes and industrial partners, mainly at the Free University of Brussels (VUB), and uses cutting-edge technologies such as AI, high-throughput screening (HTS), and autonomous synthetic robotics to create batteries. We aim to innovate technology.
Contribution to sustainable energy technology
The project is being implemented to meet the rapidly growing needs of electric vehicles and renewable energy systems. By combining Quanta Technology with AI from QunaSys, we will improve battery efficiency and accelerate material development, driving innovation in sustainable energy storage solutions. This is expected to create a more high-performance battery technology with less environmental impact.
Comment from QunaSys CEO Erik Stangerup
"We believe quantum computer technology is a game changer in the field of material discovery. By participating in the FULL-MAP project, we will integrate quantum simulation with AI and HTS, and we will be able to create a new and innovative approach to the development of quantum simulation. We look forward to accelerating the discovery of next-generation battery materials and contributing to innovation in sustainable energy storage solutions."
