Avist Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Mitaka, Tokyo; CEO: Susumu Ken), a digital solution developer, has established a new company called "VIETNAM ABIST CO., LTD." in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the aim of securing excellent engineering talent, utilizing offshore development, and expanding business , and will begin operations on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

In recent years, there has been a serious shortage of engineers in Japan due to the impact of a declining birthrate and aging population, and maintaining the technical capabilities of the manufacturing industry has become a challenge. Furthermore, with the development of digital technology, companies are required to have more advanced design and development capabilities. Amidst this situation, Abysto has partnered with Vietnam's Rikkeisoft Company Limited since 2019, building a track record of offshore development.

The medium-term management plan formulated in December 2022 sets "global expansion including offshore development" as one of the main pillars of our strategy, and considers establishing a new company. With this establishment, we aim to achieve further growth by securing human resources through offshore development and developing local markets.

Additionally, by transferring some of our design work within Japan (structural considerations, modeling, drawing creation, etc.) to Vietnam, we will aim to reduce costs and optimize resources, and strengthen our ability to respond to high value-added projects. Furthermore, in the Vietnamese market, which is continuing economic growth, we aim to promote direct transactions with local manufacturers and create new business opportunities.
