“Tree house” design concept
The ``Tree House'' is a home that embodies MUJI's idea of ``lasting use and changeability.'' The structure uses the stable SE construction method, and is designed to allow you to freely change the floor plan to suit changes in your family structure and lifestyle. Additionally, the south-facing eaves are designed to block direct sunlight in the summer and let in warm sunlight in the winter, providing excellent energy-saving performance.
Development of the “MUJI House” series
``MUJI House'' includes the ``Tree House'' (released in 2004), the ``Window House'' (released in 2007, won the Good Design Gold Award in 2008), and the 3-story urban-style ``Vertical House.'' (released in 2014, won the Good Design Award), and the one-story "Sun House" (released in 2019).
