“Water Illumination & Oimo Festival” will be held for the first time!
An event of light and taste to enjoy at Nakagawa Canal Horidome Green Space

hold a social experimental event for the first time at the Nakagawa Canal Horidome Green Space as part of its efforts to create liveliness using the port environment improvement planning system (Minato Green Space PPP) . This event aims to improve the convenience of Horidome Green Space and demonstrate its effect on landscape formation, as well as to understand user needs in order to create continuous liveliness.

Event details

Water illumination: A fantastic space woven with light and music

On the west side of the water surface of the Nakagawa Canal Horidome Green Space, glowing balls are set up in time with the music, allowing you to enjoy the art of light floating on the water. In particular, for three days from December 13th to 15th, there will be a special show featuring dancers wearing costumes of light, which will further enhance the magical space. Shows are approximately 20 minutes long and are scheduled three times a day.

Oimo Festival: Enjoy the taste of winter with steamy roasted sweet potatoes and sweets

At the west plaza of Horidome Green Space, several kitchen cars gather and you can enjoy baked sweet potatoes and sweets made with sweet potatoes. Enjoy a heartwarming moment under the winter night sky.

Sasashima Horidome Photo Contest: Share the charm of Horidome Green Space on Instagram

To apply, simply post a beautiful photo taken at Horidome Green Park on Instagram with the hashtag "#Sasashima Horidome Photocon". We will judge the photos that best convey the charm of Horidome Green Space, and the best submissions will receive an annual passport to the Port of Nagoya Aquarium.

• Application period : November 15th (Friday) to December 15th (Sunday), 2024 (approximately 1 month)
• Judging criteria : Photos that convey the charm of Horidome Green Space
• Prize : Nagoya Port Aquarium annual passport (10 people)
