Applications are accepted until 23:59 on Saturday, November 30, 2024. from 20:00 on Wednesday, December 18th will feature a guest MC and the performances of carefully selected VTubers

About this project “Discover #VTuber”

"Discover #VTubers" is a project that targets VTubers with fewer than 30,000 YouTube channel subscribers and accepts applications from self-recommendations and others, and selects and introduces outstanding VTubers. We aim to revitalize the VTuber industry and provide a place where viewers and VTubers can have fun and connect. This large-scale project, which started in 2020 and is held at the end of every year, has trended on social media all four times in the past. The theme for 2024 is "Belief - Push forward on your own path", and we will support VTubers who are active with their own beliefs.

About application conditions

Applicants are eligible to apply if they have less than 30,000 subscribers to their YouTube channel and are active as a virtual presence (2D or 3D avatar). Details on how to apply can be found on the official X (formerly Twitter) account. The deadline is 23:59 on Saturday, November 30, 2024, so please apply!

Broadcast date and guests

The broadcast will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 20:00 to 22:00 on the YouTube distribution channel "@discoteimeteo". This time's main guest MC will be Kanae Sensei from the Criminology Department, who self-recommended and appeared in the first episode. Kanae-sensei has continued to be active since then, and currently leads the industry as a popular VTuber with over 180,000 channel subscribers. She will liven up the 5th broadcast as a guest MC.
