37th Yatsushiro National Fireworks Competition
Japan's largest fireworks festival, which attracts approximately 250,000 visitors every year, will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2020. In addition to 30 fireworks vendors from all over the country competing in their skills, you can also enjoy musical fireworks and entertainment fireworks. There are many food stalls and product exhibitions around the venue, making it a fun day for families and couples.
Myoken Festival
Myoken Festival, one of the three major festivals in Kyushu, is crowded with people during the eve festival on Friday, November 22nd and the main festival on Saturday, November 23rd. A procession centering on mikoshi and sacred horses moves through the city, and traditional dance performances are performed. Particularly on the 23rd, the lion dance and gun troop performances that will be held at Tosaki Riverside will be a highlight.
Autumn leaves of Gokanosho
Gokanosho, a hidden area surrounded by mountains with an altitude of 1,300 to 1,700 meters, is famous for its autumn leaves. The scenery of the valley, suspension bridges, and waterfalls is truly spectacular and captivates visitors.
