What is Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp?
Ibaraki Prefecture's new brand ``Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp'' is a type of lobster that has seen a rapid increase in catch in recent years, reaching eight times the amount in just five years. In particular, their size is on average twice the size of spiny lobsters from other prefectures. Focusing on this characteristic, it was branded as "Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp" in 2023.
Recreate the tempura soba from the Edo period! "Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp Tempura Soba"

At "BARA Dining" in "IBARAKI sense", under the supervision of the head chef Sarashina Horii (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yoshinori Horii), "Hitachi no Kuni Ise Shrimp", which recreates the tempura soba of the Edo period, will be served. "Tempura Soba" will be available in limited quantities. This menu uses a cooking method unique to the Edo period, simmering tempura in soba soup, and perfectly recreates the flavors of the time.
