With the rise of venture companies in Kyoto after the war, Kyoto Bank has supported local companies known as "Kyoto stocks" such as Omron, Nintendo, Murata Manufacturing, Kyocera, and Wacoal as its main banks, and has expanded its business with its growth. They also own a large number of shares in these companies, and have accumulated a large unrealized gain on shares.
History
In September 1945, with the end of World War II, 10 ports across the country were designated as retrieval ports, but since 1950, Maizuru Port became the only retrieval port, and its role was completed when the Hakusanmaru called in September 1958. During this time, Kyoto Bank was responsible for the foreign currency exchange work for bringing back home, a local bank that had no experience.
In recent years, he has been a uniform sleeve sponsor for the J League Kyoto Sanga FC since 2007, and since 2008 he has been a sponsor of Asahi Broadcasting Television and Asahi Broadcasting Radio on broadcast programs for the National High School Baseball Championship. Normally, the commercial "Nagai, Otsukiai" is aired only in the area where it is located, but it may be broadcast nationwide when it sponsors a special program.
