Chateraise Co., Ltd.

Chateraise Co., Ltd. is a food manufacturer headquartered in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and was founded in 1954. As symbolized by the company's catchphrase, "The deliciousness of nature. The deliciousness of people think," we value natural ingredients and continue to pursue "deliciousness" by consumers.

The company name "Château" is a combination of French word "Château" and "Raisins" meaning "grapes" and "grapes" are used to express the meaning of "grape castle." It's there. The company originally developed its food business as the (formerly) Chateraise, but in 2010 it split its food business and made a new start as the current Chateraise Co., Ltd. Currently, Chateraise Holdings holds all of its shares.

What's distinctive is its direct sales system that has been around since the 1980s. Chateraise delivers products from its own factories in various locations to directly operated franchise stores, and engages in sales activities that are closely connected to the local community. For remote delivery, we use a method of delivering products directly from the area where our own factories are installed, achieving quality and prompt delivery. We also have a unique logistics system in which we deliver locally to areas with manufacturing bases outside of Japan, and in areas without our bases, we freeze products manufactured at factories in Japan and send them by airmail.

Today, we wholesale our company's products at major convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson, as well as shopping centers such as Ito-Yokado and Aeon Mall, and access to a wider variety of consumers.

Chateraise Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells Western, Japanese sweets, ice cream, bread and beverages, and also operates FC stores that operate nationwide. Sales for the fiscal year ending March 2024 reached 131.3 billion yen, with approximately 2,700 employees. We will continue to pursue "delicacy" and continue to strengthen our business operations both in Japan and abroad, while maintaining quality.
